Welcome to PlayStation Shop. These Terms and Conditions ("Terms") govern your access to and use of our website, products, and services. By creating an account, making a purchase, or otherwise using our services, you agree to these Terms.
PlayStation Shop is an independent digital marketplace specializing in PlayStation games, subscriptions, and digital content. We are not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by Sony Interactive Entertainment Inc. PlayStation, PS5, PS4, PS Plus, and PSN are registered trademarks of Sony Interactive Entertainment.
If you do not agree to these Terms, you must not use our services. We reserve the right to refuse service to anyone for any reason at any time.
Account Registration
Creating and managing your account
Account Requirements
To use certain features of our service, you must:
- Be at least 18 years of age or the age of majority in your jurisdiction
- Provide accurate, complete, and current registration information
- Maintain the security of your account credentials
- Accept responsibility for all activities under your account
Account Security
You are responsible for:
- Keeping your password confidential and secure
- Notifying us immediately of any unauthorized access
- Ensuring you log out from shared devices
We strongly recommend enabling two-factor authentication for additional security. We are not liable for any loss arising from unauthorized use of your account.
Account Accuracy
You must provide accurate information during registration. Using false information, creating multiple accounts to circumvent restrictions, or impersonating others may result in immediate account termination.

What we sell and how we deliver
What We Sell
PlayStation Shop sells digital products including:
- PlayStation game codes (PS5, PS4)
- PlayStation Plus subscription codes (Essential, Extra, Premium)
- PSN wallet top-up cards
- DLC and add-on content
- Other digital gaming products
Instant Digital Delivery
After successful payment, digital product keys are delivered instantly to your account. You can access your keys in your Dashboard under "My Orders." In rare cases during high traffic, delivery may take up to 15 minutes.
Product Availability
All products are subject to availability. We reserve the right to:
- Limit quantities purchased per customer
- Discontinue products without notice
- Refuse or cancel orders if stock is unavailable
If an order cannot be fulfilled, we will notify you and issue a full refund.
Code Redemption
Product codes must be redeemed on the PlayStation Network according to Sony's redemption process. We provide the codes; redemption and subsequent usage are governed by Sony's terms of service.
Regional Restrictions
Region-specific requirements
Important: Region Matching Required
All PlayStation products are region-locked. You must purchase codes matching your PSN account region.
Regional Products
We offer products for specific regions including:
- UK Region: PS Plus UK, PSN Cards UK (works with UK PSN accounts)
- US Region: PS Plus US, PSN Cards US (works with US PSN accounts)
- EU Region: PSN Cards EU, Games EU (works with European PSN accounts)
Your Responsibility
It is your responsibility to:
- Verify your PSN account region before purchasing
- Select products matching your account region
- Understand that mismatched region codes cannot be refunded once revealed
Pricing & Payments
Payment terms and pricing
Pricing
- All prices are displayed in the currency indicated on the product page
- Prices may change without notice, but confirmed orders are honored
- Promotional prices are valid only during the specified period
- Price errors may result in order cancellation with full refund
Payment Methods
We accept payments through:
- Credit and debit cards (Visa, Mastercard, American Express) via Stripe
- PayPal
All payments are processed securely through our payment providers. We do not store complete payment card details.
Fraud Prevention
We employ fraud detection measures. Orders flagged for review may be delayed or cancelled. We reserve the right to:
- Request additional verification for suspicious orders
- Cancel orders suspected of fraud
- Refuse future orders from accounts involved in fraudulent activity
- Report suspected fraud to relevant authorities
Chargebacks
Filing a chargeback without first contacting our support team may result in immediate account suspension. If a chargeback is filed after digital products have been delivered and redeemed, we reserve the right to pursue recovery of losses through appropriate legal channels.
Refunds & Cancellations
Our refund policy
Digital Products Policy
Due to the instant nature of digital delivery, refunds cannot be issued once a product key has been revealed or redeemed.
When Refunds Are Available
- Invalid codes: If a code is invalid or already redeemed (not by you), we will provide a replacement or full refund
- Order not delivered: If payment succeeds but no code is delivered, contact support for resolution
- Duplicate purchase: Accidental duplicate orders may be refunded if keys are unrevealed
- Pre-order cancellation: Pre-orders can be cancelled before the code is issued
When Refunds Are NOT Available
- After the product key has been revealed in your account
- After the product key has been redeemed on PlayStation Network
- For wrong region purchases (your responsibility to verify)
- Change of mind after viewing the key
- Account issues with your PSN account (not controlled by us)
Refund Process
To request a refund, contact support@playstation.shop with your order number and reason for the request. Valid refunds are processed within 5-10 business days to the original payment method.
Licensing & Usage
Product license terms
Digital License Terms
When you purchase a digital product from PlayStation Shop:
- You receive a license to use the product according to the publisher's terms
- You do not acquire ownership of the underlying software
- The license is typically non-transferable and for personal use only
- Usage is governed by Sony's PlayStation Network Terms of Service
PSN Cards
PSN wallet funds added via our cards:
- Are subject to Sony's terms and conditions
- Cannot be transferred, exchanged, or cashed out
- May have usage limitations imposed by Sony
PlayStation Plus Subscriptions
PS Plus subscription codes:
- Activate according to Sony's subscription terms
- May auto-renew unless disabled in your PSN account
- Benefits are determined by Sony and may change
Prohibited Activities
What you cannot do
You agree not to:
- Use our service for any unlawful purpose
- Resell, redistribute, or commercially exploit purchased codes without authorization
- Attempt to circumvent security measures or access unauthorized areas
- Use bots, scripts, or automated methods to access our services
- Provide false information during registration or checkout
- Create multiple accounts to abuse promotions or circumvent restrictions
- Engage in fraudulent chargebacks or payment disputes
- Share account credentials or allow unauthorized account access
- Interfere with the proper operation of our website
- Attempt to decompile, reverse engineer, or hack our systems
Violation of these terms may result in immediate account termination and potential legal action.

Ownership and trademarks
PlayStation, PS5, PS4, PS Plus, PSN, and related marks are registered trademarks of Sony Interactive Entertainment Inc. All game titles, characters, and related imagery are property of their respective owners.
The PlayStation Shop website, including its design, text, graphics, and code, is owned by us and protected by copyright and other intellectual property laws. You may not:
- Copy, modify, or distribute our website content
- Use our branding or trademarks without permission
- Create derivative works based on our content
- Scrape or harvest data from our website
Limitation of Liability

- Our services will be uninterrupted or error-free
- Defects will be corrected
- Our servers are free of viruses or harmful components
Limitation of Damages
To the maximum extent permitted by law, PlayStation Shop shall not be liable for:
- Indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages
- Loss of profits, data, or goodwill
- Service interruptions or system failures
- Actions taken by Sony or other third parties
- Issues with your PSN account not caused by us
Our total liability shall not exceed the amount you paid for the specific product or service giving rise to the claim.
Third-Party Services
We are not responsible for the actions, content, or policies of third parties including Sony, payment processors, or any linked websites.
Indemnification
Your obligations to us
You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless PlayStation Shop, its officers, directors, employees, and agents from any claims, damages, losses, or expenses (including legal fees) arising from:

- Your violation of any third-party rights

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with applicable laws. Any disputes shall be resolved in the appropriate courts of jurisdiction.
Dispute Timeframe
Any claim arising from your use of our services must be filed within one (1) year after the cause of action arises, or be permanently barred.
Termination
Account termination
By You
You may close your account at any time by contacting support. Unredeemed products in your account should be redeemed before closure.
By Us
We may suspend or terminate your account immediately, without notice, if you:
- Violate these Terms
- Engage in fraudulent activity
- File unjustified chargebacks
- Abuse our services or other users
Effect of Termination
Upon termination:
- Your access to our services will be revoked
- Unrevealed product keys may be forfeited
- We may retain certain data as required by law
- Provisions that by nature should survive will continue to apply

We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. When we make changes:
